يدل القمر في المنام على ذي قدرٍ ومنزلةٍ دون الأعلى: كالوزير والعالم والزوج، وعلى الجمال والبشارة والهداية في الظلمة. وتختلف دلالته بحسب تمامه ونوره وحاله. وهي دلالاتٌ لا أحكامٌ قاطعة، والعلم عند الله.

حالات رؤية القمر

• البدر المنير الكامل: جاهٌ وبشارةٌ ورفعةُ شأنٍ وهدايةٌ بعد حيرة.
• الهلال: مولودٌ جديدٌ أو بدايةُ أمرٍ مباركٍ أو رزقٌ ينمو شيئاً فشيئاً.
• خسوف القمر أو ذهاب نوره: همٌّ أو نكسةٌ تصيب ذا قدرٍ (كأبٍ أو زوجٍ أو رئيس).
• دخول القمر البيت للمرأة: قد يدل على زوجٍ أو خاطبٍ ذي قدرٍ وجمال.
• سقوط القمر من السماء: مصيبةٌ تصيب كبيراً أو فقدُ سندٍ، فيُتوقّى بالدعاء.
• القمر مع الشمس والنجوم ساجدةً: كما في رؤيا يوسف عليه السلام، يدل على الأهل والأكابر واجتماعهم على الرائي.

• The moon entering the home, for a woman: may indicate a husband or suitor of rank and beauty.
• The moon falling from the sky: a calamity striking someone great, or the loss of support — guarded against by supplication.
• The moon with the sun and stars prostrating: as in the vision of Prophet Yusuf, it indicates family and elders gathering around the dreamer.
