تدل الشمس في المنام على السلطان الأعظم أو الملك أو الأب أو ذي القدر الرفيع، وعلى الجاه والعزّ والوضوح بعد غموض. وتختلف الدلالة بحسب إشراقها وحرّها وحالها. وهي دلالاتٌ لا أحكامٌ قاطعة، والعلم عند الله.

حالات رؤية الشمس

• الشمس المشرقة الصافية: سلطانٌ عادلٌ وجاهٌ ووضوحٌ في الأمور وانكشافُ حق.
• طلوع الشمس على الرائي: إقبالُ خيرٍ وجاهٍ ورفعةٍ بعد خمول.
• كسوف الشمس أو ذهاب ضوئها: همٌّ أو نكسةٌ تصيب كبيراً (كأبٍ أو ملكٍ أو رئيس).
• طلوع الشمس من مغربها: أمرٌ عجيبٌ أو حدثٌ خارقٌ للعادة، وقد يُحمل على التوبة.
• حرّ الشمس المؤذي: ضيقٌ من سلطانٍ أو مشقّةٌ ومحنة.
• الشمس مع القمر والنجوم: كما في رؤيا يوسف عليه السلام، تدل على الأبوين والأهل واجتماعهم.

الشمس المشرقة في عمومها جاهٌ ووضوحٌ وخير، وتختلف بحسب حالها وحال الرائي. والعلم عند الله تعالى.

Cases of seeing the sun

• A bright, clear sun: a just authority, standing, clarity in affairs, and truth revealed.
• The sun rising over the dreamer: incoming good, standing, and elevation after obscurity.
• A solar eclipse or loss of its light: worry or a setback striking someone great (a father, king, or leader).
• The sun rising from the west: a strange matter or an extraordinary event; may be read as repentance.
• Harmful heat of the sun: distress from an authority, or hardship and ordeal.
• The sun with the moon and stars: as in the vision of Prophet Yusuf, it indicates the parents and family and their gathering.
